This email represents the first time public defender DANIELLE MARIE DAROCA-BELL #265746 baited her unsuspecting client Michael Taylor with mental health diversion, in writing, under the premise that the case will be dismissed and Taylor would avoid prison. DAROCA-BELL would go on to bait Taylor with mental health diversion again on October 5th, 2023. The primary evidence in this case has been destroyed by the State before defendant Michael Taylor's preliminary hearing in Burbank court. The Public Defender has failed to object or file a motion to preserve the issue.
